Aloft’s latest patch, version 0.3.5.17, tightens up glider logistics and squashes a handful of pesky bugs, making your sky-faring adventures a little smoother.

Glider Adjustments for Better Progression

The biggest change targets crashed Gliders on Home Islands—once you’ve repaired one, it will now disappear after a short time, reducing visual clutter. However, these wrecks remain visible to any player who hasn’t yet claimed the pattern, ensuring no one misses out on the blueprint. This is a smart balance between cleanup and accessibility.

Audio and Visual Polish

The patch also tunes the sky-high experience:

  • Megaboost sound now persists as long as it’s active while using the Bone Oculus
  • Opal Oculus gliding now has its own SFX
  • General mixing adjustments for several glider sounds

For players, this means fewer confusing audio cutouts and a more immersive ride when you’re cruising at full tilt.

Bug Fixes That Matter

Several stability and interaction issues have been addressed:

  • Puzzle Orbs can no longer be picked up while crouching (fixing animation glitches)
  • Acacia Gum and Reishi Mushrooms now attach correctly to trees
  • Collision fixes on multiple island platforms and assets
  • A floating platform from Fallen Heights no longer shows wrong materials at distance
  • Emberstone Oculus now plays its VFX and SFX even when player momentum is maxed out

“Fixed an issue where the Emberstone Oculus did not play its VFX + SFX if the player momentum was maxed out.”

This last fix is a game-changer for speedrunners and anyone pushing the limits of flight—no more silent runs when you’re going full throttle.

While 0.3.5.17 isn’t a content bomb, it’s a welcome stability patch that shows the devs are listening to player feedback on audio clarity and world interaction. Aloft continues to polish its wings, and that’s a good sign for the journey ahead.
