Funcom dropped a hefty patch for Dune: Awakening on June 24, 2026, and it’s packed with tweaks, fixes, and a handful of notable additions. The headline feature? Five new Landsraad missions spread across Hagga Basin and Smuggler’s Run.
Coriolis Storm and Vehicle Changes
The team made some smart adjustments to the Coriolis storm buildup in Hagga Basin. They removed wind particles, increased the buildup duration, and reduced fog density during the final hour. That should make the storm’s approach feel less chaotic and more readable.
There’s also a fix for players using ornithopters as combat platforms. Standing on a flying vehicle let people pull off unintended PvP tactics, so now the game pushes players off at higher speeds. You can still stand on them when they’re moving slowly.

Cargo containers got heavier too. They won’t get shoved around by other vehicles anymore, which should make hauling stuff feel less like a physics joke.
UNSTUCK Menu Rework
The UNSTUCK feature now works differently inside Overland map dungeons. Instead of hunting for the closest valid spot, it teleports you straight to the dungeon’s start location. Outside dungeons, it behaves the same as before — finding the nearest safe point and dropping you there.
Funcom marked changes made from player feedback with a handshake emoji in the full patch notes. They’re also pointing players to their Discord and Steam boards for the known issues list.
