Funcom dropped a Dune: Awakening hotfix on July 23, 2026, and it’s a client-side download. If the update doesn’t start automatically, you’ll need to restart your Steam client. Servers are coming back up shortly after the patch.
What Got Fixed
This is a small but targeted patch. The devs tackled three specific bugs:
- Fixed an issue where some players’ cargo containers teleported out of their bases on server start
- Fixed an issue where a cargo container could, in rare cases, fall under the terrain
- Fixed an issue where Error Code V62 could occur during travel between maps
No word on what exactly caused the container teleportation or the terrain sink, but those are the kind of bugs that can ruin a session fast.
Known Issues
If you’re still running into problems, the devs point you to their Discord server or the Steam discussion boards for the full list of known issues. That’s where you’ll find the ongoing tracker for stuff they’re still working on.
The cargo container fixes are the big ones here — losing your base inventory to a teleport or the void is no joke. This hotfix should keep your loot where it belongs.
