SLUG: solarpunk-coop-beta-playtest-weekend
SUMMARY: Sign up by February 13 for a chance to test Solarpunk’s coop mode with up to three friends on Steam.
The Solarpunk team is looking for new players to join a coop Beta playtest this weekend on PC via Steam. They want people who have never played the game before. If you can bring at least one friend — or up to three — this is your shot to help shape the development.
Applications are open now for a limited number of playtest keys. The deadline is tight: Friday, February 13 at 6 am PT, 9 am ET, or 15:00 CET. Selected participants will get an email that same Friday. The team stresses this is a beta version, so expect bugs and rough edges. After playing, they ask everyone to fill out a short feedback form. “Your honest feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us improve the game,” the announcement reads.
You can apply through the official form here: https://forms.gle/1bzh7U8Fi9X3GYkq8
The team also shared a high-level plan. January kicked off the beta. February focuses on a multiplayer trailer. March brings a console announcement. Spring is when they plan to reveal the release date. They’re still targeting a release in the first half of 2026, but that depends on beta feedback.
The window to sign up closes in just a few hours from now.
