The Solarpunk team dropped a new patch on June 19, 2026, and it’s all about fixing things that break your flow. No new biomes or massive features here — just a bunch of stability work and quality-of-life tweaks.
Bug Squashing
Achievements were a mess before this update. The patch fixes them not unlocking on clients, not unlocking on hosts, and not unlocking on hosts when a client unlocks one with shared progress. They also fixed the Diamond Achievement not triggering for some players.
Other fixes include:
- Merchant input behavior improved
- Inventory UIs no longer freezing with gamepad after a backpack upgrade (fixed for Chest, Furnace, Energy Furnace, Energy Generator, Postbox, and Recycler)
- Virtual gamepad keyboard not opening in Steam Big Picture Mode after editing signs
- A function that unlocks crafting recipes players should already have from research — this should fix the Beehive recipe bug
New Additions
There’s a new “Unstuck Airship” button in settings. It teleports your airship high into the air so you can call it back to the dock. Handy if you wedge it somewhere weird.
You’ll also get a notification when a trade gives you an airship upgrade. And the death notification lasts longer now — part of it was getting hidden by the transition.
The postbox now gives feedback when there’s no power. Small thing, but it helps.
What’s Next
The team plans to send this update to console platform holders at the start of next week. After that, release timing depends on platform review.
“We are still working on more fixes and are going through the open topics step by step.”
They’re also thinking about first upcoming features. But they don’t want to promise anything yet. Instead, they’re setting up a voting system and working on a roadmap so the community can decide what matters most.
The devs say they read reviews, posts, and forum feedback, even if they can’t reply to everything.
